Sometimes, love finds you when you least expect it. For us, it all began in October 2023, just a few months after Johnathan relocated to Texas from Denver, Colorado. In today’s modern world, we met online with a simple “SWIPE RIGHT”.

After exchanging a few thoughtful messages, we decided to meet in person, setting the stage for something truly special.

Our first date took place at a beloved restaurant in Fort Worth, where what was meant to be a casual lunch quickly turned into an unforgettable afternoon. After just three dates, Markeisha was utterly charmed by Johnathan’s kindness, intention, and Brian McKnight playlist. From that point on, our connection only deepened with each passing day.

Over the next year, our love story blossomed through shared adventures—traveling to new places, spending time with each other’s families, and creating a life full of laughter, growth, and cherished memories. It was a year of discovery, joy, and the realization that we are meant for one another.

In November 2024, shortly after celebrating our one-year anniversary, Johnathan proposed with a heart full of love, and Markeisha said “yes” without hesitation.

Now, we are thrilled to continue our journey together and can’t wait to celebrate this exciting new chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
